Visit by the CEO of Iran Alumina Company to the Logistics and Transportation Unit on the Occasion of the National Transportation Day
On the occasion of December 17th (26th of Azar), the National Transportation Day, Dr. Badkoubeh, CEO and esteemed Member of the Board of Directors of Iran Alumina Company, visited the company’s Logistics and Transportation Unit and reviewed various sections of the department.
During this visit, the CEO examined the status of activities and executive processes within the logistics domain and engaged in dialogue with the unit’s personnel. In this context, the Head of the Logistics and Transportation Unit presented a report on the current state of the vehicle fleet. He highlighted that a portion of the machinery and transport vehicles is aging and stressed the necessity for the modernization and updating of the fleet to enhance safety, increase productivity, and reduce operational costs.
In response to this request, Dr. Badkoubeh expressed gratitude for the efforts of the logistics staff and promised to facilitate the issue of fleet modernization. He assured them that the matter would be followed up through expert evaluation and necessary decision-making, and would be considered within the framework of the company’s plans.
The CEO and Board Member of Iran Alumina Company emphasized the strategic role of logistics and transportation in sustaining production, stating:
“The continuity of stable and safe production requires an efficient transport fleet commensurate with the company’s operational needs, and the company management will provide the necessary support in this direction.”
At the conclusion of the visit, the CEO extended congratulations on the National Transportation Day to the logistics employees and drivers, appreciating their around-the-clock efforts, and emphasized the continuation of interaction and collaboration to elevate the level of the company’s transportation services.
