According to Imna and quoted by Iran’s Mines and Mineral Industries Development and Modernization Organization (IMIDRO), four aluminum producing companies in the country produced 538,633 tons of ingots from the beginning of April to the end of March last year.

This figure was 446,836 tons in the same period of the previous year.
Of this amount, “Iralco” companies produced 177,58 tons, “Salco” 173,594 tons, “Al-Mahdi” 150,738 tons, and “Iran Alumina” 37,243 tons.

Production of more than 230 thousand tons of alumina powder

Iran Alumina Company produced 230 thousand 682 tons of alumina powder in 12 months of last year. The amount of production during the same period of 2019 was about 231 thousand 612 tons.

18% reduction in bauxite production

Also, in 1400, Iran Alumina Company produced about 698 thousand 149 tons of bauxite (the raw material for the production of alumina powder), which shows a decrease of about 18% compared to the production of 99 (846 thousand 452 tons).
