The Deputy of Alumina Operations at Iran Alumina Company announced the achievement of a new production record. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of employees, the company successfully produced 36,551 tons of hydrate and 350 tons of special-grade hydrate in November of this year  marking the highest monthly output in the past 10 years.

According to the Public Relations and Social Affairs Department of Iran Alumina Company, Engineer Rezaeirad, Deputy of Alumina Operations, expressed his appreciation to all staff members for their commitment and contributions to this significant accomplishment. He emphasized that this achievement is particularly remarkable given the current bauxite module, and voiced his hope that the team’s synergy and cooperation will maintain this upward trend through the end of the year.

Engineer Rezaeirad noted that effective intra-departmental coordination and impactful collaboration between maintenance, production, and process units played a pivotal role in successfully executing overhaul programs, improving operational quality, and achieving this record-breaking production milestone.

He further highlighted that timely procurement of overhaul parts and the supply of essential production components were critical factors in realizing this success.

Among the major effective actions taken during this period, Rezaeirad cited:

  • Replacement of the lime crusher,
  • Procurement and replacement of bucket elevator components,
  • Major repairs on the grinding and mixing unit (Unit 09) electric motors,
  • Resolving preheater clock malfunctions,
  • Activation of Unit 07,
  • Overhauling the boiler system, and
  • Increasing the replacement rate of heat exchanger tubes (Unit 18).

He also mentioned other impactful measures, including the installation of descaling equipment, heat exchanger tube replacements, procurement of critical valves, installation of UPS systems, direct repairs on essential equipment, and supply of caustic soda under challenging market conditions.

The Deputy of Alumina Operations also cited improved bauxite module and better feedstock quality as additional contributors to this new production record.

In conclusion, Engineer Rezaeirad stressed that this remarkable achievement was made possible through the collective determination and concerted efforts of all deputies, managers, and employees  supported by the strong leadership and continuous follow-up of the company’s CEO, board member, and deputy CEO.

He added:

“This success demonstrates that whenever work progresses through proper planning and full coordination, the true potential of our plant is revealed. We confidently expect that, with the same spirit of teamwork and perseverance, even greater achievements lie ahead.”
