More than 144 billion tomans in the company’s receivables have been collected.
The CEO and Board Member of Iran Alumina Company (I.A.C), emphasizing the importance of defending the company’s rights and receivables, announced the collection of 144 billion tomans of the company’s receivables as a result of the continuous and professional follow-ups by the esteemed Legal Unit and its team.
According to the Public Relations and Social Affairs of Iran Alumina Company; Dr. Hamidreza Badkoubeh stated in this regard: “This amount was collected from an important case, which demonstrates our serious determination and will in defending the legal rights of the company.” The CEO and Board Member of Iran Alumina Company also referred to the case of the company’s transfer through the Iranian Privatization Organization to the Support and Pension Fund for Steel Employees in 2013 (1392 SH) and said that the amount of 144 billion tomans relates to this case.
He added that the Steel Pension Fund had received a total of 13.3 billion tomans in several installments in 2013 (1392 SH). “Given the annulment of this transfer in 2014 (1393 SH), extensive follow-ups were made to recover the aforementioned amount, which fortunately, with the issuance of a conviction verdict, the aforementioned receivables were recovered at the current rate, amounting to 144 billion tomans.” He concluded by emphasizing: “As an economic entity, we are committed to safeguarding our rights and receivables, and we will exert every effort to recover the claims and defend the rights and interests of the company.” He noted: “These efforts demonstrate the importance of protecting the company’s legal and financial rights and the continuous endeavor to realize them.”
