In line with reducing hazard risks and implementing the 5S Bell; scrap materials in the Red Clay Unit of Iran Alumina Company were collected.
Coinciding with the Passive Defense Week and with the aim of reducing hazard risks and implementing the 5S Bell, a special cleanup and organization program for the workplace in the Red Clay Unit of Iran Alumina Company was executed by collecting scrap materials.
According to the Public Relations and Social Affairs Department of Iran Alumina Company, this program was carried out with the active participation of employees from the operations and maintenance departments, in collaboration with the Industrial Services Unit.
The implementation of the ‘5S Bell’ plan and waste management was among the most important objectives of this program, aimed at reducing environmental risks and enhancing order and cleanliness in the workplace.
Based on this report, during the program, a significant portion of the metal scrap present on the unit’s surface was separated and collected. This activity not only contributed greatly to optimizing resource consumption but also served as an effective step towards recycling waste and protecting the environment.
The report indicates that the extensive participation of employees in this initiative demonstrates organizational commitment and a culture of environmental responsibility among the company’s workforce. It is worth mentioning that this program is recognized as a symbol of solidarity and cooperation among employees in the pursuit of environmental preservation and the creation of a healthier working environment.
